3) I’m still on for illustrating the cover for Donald Miller’s upcoming book Let Story Guide You. I talked with him last week and he told me this big long story I didn’t really listen to, (there was something shiny catching my eye) but I caught the part about it coming out next year and I’m still part of the project. So that’s good.

I have another painting almost done. Maybe I’ll get it up here this coming week. Headed to Sacramento for a friend’s wedding. Hooray. Sacramento, I-5 and tucking in my shirt. Ugh. But I’m betting open bar, so HUZZAH!

There’s been something perched on the roof of the Bank of America building for a few weeks now, and my roommate and I can’t figure out what it is.

I’m hoping it’s a giant fly, but really… I know it’s not. But I want it to be!

I just realized in order to layout this text without it getting all askew, I’ll need to write enough text to fill up the space here on the right. But I have nothing more to say.

I guess I’m on a drawing kick. It’s about time. I haven’t wanted to draw for months. I wonder how long it’ll last.

I keep wanting to draw something profound, but normally I settle for something ‘clever.’ So I drew something more pretty than profound I guess. I’d love to draw a model sometime.

I’ll quit saying ‘draw’ now.

I watched the most beautiful hour of TV tonight, an episode of This American Life I Tivo’d. Try to find it if you can, the episode’s called John Smith. Anyways, this is what I made afterwards….
